Free WiFi and parking, so I could update my Instagram with fancy pics. Loved swimming in the indoor pool, felt like a mermaid. Oh, and Derwentwater and Bowness-on-Windermere were just a hop away for some fun adventures.

Well, I guess everything was just perfect, so no complaints here!

Lovely and clean with ample front and kitchen area. Well-equipped 3 bed caravan in an excellent location by Lake Windermere, close to Ambleside and Bowness. Enjoyed the lovely veranda and the freedom for the children. Would definitely book again.

Calgarth Lodge provided us with an excellent location on the edge of a beautiful lake. We enjoyed the convenience of being close to Ambleside and Bowness on Windermere. The three-bedroom caravan was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lovely veranda was a great spot to soak up the sunshine in the evenings. Our children loved the freedom and made new friends on the site. we had a wonderful time and would definitely book again.

The room at Calgarth Lodge was cozy and comfortable, giving me a warm and homely feel after a long day of hiking. The beds were so soft and inviting, making it hard to resist a good night's sleep. I loved the rustic decor that added a charming touch to the room, making it feel like a true countryside retreat. The view from the window was simply breathtaking, overlooking the serene beauty of Windermere. It was like waking up in a postcard!

Personally, I would have preferred a bathroom fitted with a bath instead of just a shower.

Excellent location on the edge of Lake Windermere, close to Ambleside and Bowness. Well-equipped lodge with a homely feel, recently refurbished. Peaceful and picturesque surroundings. Tea and coffee provided on arrival.

Felt great, no reason to complain.
